I worked on this game and if we had more time I would have liked to add additional levels and also add a death animation for when the player hits a spike and dies.
Overall I had a great experience and learned a lot from building this game! It was great fun and it came a long way from the demo stages!
This game made a lot of improvements from the one you demonstrated in class (the background, the animation and deleting some unnecessary collectible items). I like the aesthetics, and the animation for running is nice. If there can be an animation for jumping, it would be better. The bgm is beautiful, and I like your trailer and the itch page setting.
Really liked the animations and themes you guys went with! One thing I would change is the particle effects. At points they seem too large and they also seem to disappear too quickly. Great game overall!
The fantasy vibe is perfect for a game about a Deer taking a nice stroll in the woods. This is a game I would play to relax/calm myself. I like that a jump animation was added, although it could be refined a bit. Adding special power-ups/boosts could make the game more fun.
I love the magical aesthetic that the game gives off. I also love the fact that there are items you can collect to improve the play experience. All in all, I think this game just needs more animations as otherwise, I think everything else is awesome!
I liked the music of this game so much. It was relaxing yet upbeat. I also thought the art was great. One suggestion is to give the deer a better jumping animation and also make it so the deer can't jump so far. It makes it look like it is floating in midair. I did also like the backgrounds. Great job overall!
the aesthetic of this game is incredible. i loved the fantasy aspect of it as well as the assets used. i think that this mobile game could be improved with adding some more animations for the deer as well as animations for some of the background. i think that with some refined visuals, this piece will really stand out.
This game has outstanding asset selections and extremely pleasing aesthetics! The consistency and continuity when it comes to subsequent levels are very well done. The sound effect choices were also very fitting.
The game has very beautiful background as well as the compatible music. I can see some other effects are added into the game to add many aesthetic values.
Some suggestion will be I would not place the particle system on every collectable item because I would misunderstand them as something very important to collect, like keys.
The theme of the game is whimsical. I see a lot of potential in terms of the game mechanics and the visual. Working on resolving the side sticking bug would improve the playing experience, and a animation of running and jumping would make this game more complete!

I really loved the sprite work throughout the entire game. The world felt really developed and it was really enjoyable to see. I liked the use of the particle system as a small bit of flavor. I thought it added to the overall theme well. I think my only suggestion would be to make sure the deer doesn't blend in too well with the background and to make sure the particles don't block the vision of the player too much. Overall, i think the game was really well done.

I love love loved the aesthetics of this game! Felt very whimsical and everything about the game was cohesive with this theme. I like the added feature of a double jump. The only thing I would say to improve is the font color and the size of the font as I can’t really read it in the title/instruction screens as well as on the UI when the player collects the items.
I like the sprites and design for the game which makes the game really adorable. The idea of playing with the light makes the game become more align with the magical idea of the game. The mushrooms and music sound tracks add more fun to the game. I played the beta testing for the game and I could see the improvement of the jumping and the sounds.

Idk why but I resonate with the deer so much. I think his walk cycle is really pleasing to look at. I also like how the mushrooms are jump boosts.
I think a few animations can be added to make the movement more dynamic. Like jump animations or hurt animations.
