You are a snowball navigating a winter forest. But there are some forest fires along the way. Get too close and you'll be struck by a fireball! If you get struck too many times, you die. You must also avoid the blue icicles as you will die upon touching them. The goal is to get to the blue diamond in the level. There many different pathways you can take, try to find the best one! There are checkpoints along the way to save your current progress while you're in the level. So if you die, you will spawn at the most recent checkpoint you passed.

Controls:

Xbox Controls:

I really liked the animation that was used for the different snowball moves and I thought that the auto air attack feature you guys implemented was really cool. The game was nice that sometimes you would fail and die by hitting spikes but you would learn and do something different the next time.

I love the idea of the snowball and I think the sprite is super well done! I really like how it moves from side to side depending on which arrow key you click.

I also really like the fact that we can speed up, I thought that was a nice touch.

Sometimes I feel like I cant see where I am going to fall, so having a more zoomed out view would be really helpful and would make it easier to get through the levels!

Otherwise great job!

I really like the music and the idea of homing attack. Although it was a little difficult for me to get used to it. I really enjoyed playing it. Also, the artwork and level design is great.

The design background of the game is really cool I like how the idea of the story is being built. One thing I really like regarding the game is the animation of the character. One improvement I think for the game is that each time the character jump it is hard to see what is in front so the player may be a little lost in the game.

I love the physics where pressing forwards makes you feel like you are sliding through the snow. I also like the change in animation when you press up button. The checkpoints were good idea to help guide the player through.

Only thing I would say is that when you jump, it tends to flow off the ground. Maybe fix the physics on that a little bit? But great job!!

I love the sly expression on the character's face.  I love how smooth the movement is as well (even on the reset, teleporting the character to the checkpoint, or the checkpoint itself spinning!)

The only thing I would suggest is adding details to the foreground and background. Perhaps some shadowing?

The visuals feel really derpy and cool and instantly lift my mood. The UI and the geometric shapes can be more polished without losing the fun. The gameplay is good and I love the different attack. The only thing I noticed is that the physics of the player can be adjusted to make the player more grounded.

I think the game has a really nice and interesting take on platforming. The homing attack and the ability to chain it from enemy to enemy is really fun and unique. However, I do feel like the jumping felt a bit too floaty. The checkpoints were also a nice touch to prevent us from having to restart after dying.

This game was really cute. I liked the sprite work. I do feel that the game was a bit confusing though. Like in some instances when the snowball would change to a popsicle I wondered why. I think an area of improvement would be in the player's movement. I think there were some gaps that could be filled in this game but overall I loved the concept.

The theme is really cute! I love the concept of it. The game plays well, but I think the player movement could be improved by increasing the friction of the snowman because it feels a little slidy. But overall, this was fun to play!

I really liked the homing attack! That's a super unique touch and attack that I think fits well with the player turning into an icicle. I was however able to skip some parts by just spamming the attack and leaping to far, out of sight enemies, but overall very cool game!
